千山鸟飞绝，万径人踪灭。

孤舟蓑笠翁，独钓寒江雪。

释义：千山万岭不见飞鸟的踪影；

千路万径不见行人的足迹。

一叶孤舟上，一位身披蓑衣头戴斗笠的渔翁；

独自在漫天风雪中垂钓。

From hill to hill no bird in flight;

From path to path no man in sight.

A lonely fisherman afloat,

Is fishing snow in lonely boat.

二、毛泽东《西江月·井冈山》（汉译英）

中华儿女多奇志，不爱红装爱武装。

释义：中华好儿女胸怀大志，不爱打扮梳妆喜欢军事，好保卫国家。

Most Chinese daughters have a desire strong,

To face the powder and not powder the face.

三、李白《静夜思》（汉译英）

床前明月光，疑是地上霜。

举头望明月，低头思故乡。

释义：明亮的月光洒在床前的窗户纸上，

好像地上泛起了一层白霜。

我禁不住抬起头来，看那天窗外空中的一轮明月，

不由得低头沉思，想起远方的家乡。

Before my bed a pool of light;

Oh can it be frost on the ground?

Looking up, I find the moon bright;

Bowing, in homesickness I’m drowned.

四、李清照《声声慢》（汉译英）

寻寻觅觅，冷冷清清，凄凄惨惨戚戚。

释义：苦苦地寻寻觅觅，却只见冷冷清清，怎不让人凄惨悲戚。

I look for what I miss, I know not what it is, 

I feel so sad, so drear, so lonely, without cheer.

五、白居易《忆江南》（汉译英）

日出江花红胜火，春来江水绿如蓝。

释义：清晨日出的时候，江边盛开的花朵，简直比火还要红艳；

当春天来到时，江里的水，青绿得就像是蓝色的的一样。

At sunrise riverside flowers more red than fire, 

In spring green river waves grow as blue as sapphire.
