I read the book Life of Pi, which was written by Yann Martel. It mainly described the harship that the main character Pi had encountered at sea for over 200 days. Pi is my favorite charater because he is so unique and sharp. He is only a high school student and his whole family died when the ship sank on their way to Canana. Pi was thrown by a cook down to the life boat with a tiger, zebra and other animals in it. He not only challenged his religious rituals and belief, but also trained a tiger living with him on the same lifeboat. THe character I dont like is Pis older brother. He always laughed at Pi and was self-centered. I had encountered some hardship for one year while living in the dorm in a middle four years ago. Maybe it was nothing comparing to Pis experience, but it was still hardship. This book taught me how to survive alone at sea and how to gain personal growth while conquering harship.。

Lazy

Harry is definitely the laziest person I have ever read about. His wife

is also influenced by him and becomes lazy too. Undoubtedly, living

comfortably without working is absolutely what we expected, yet it is

impossible. Society means competition, so that everyone needs to work

hard and earn the bread for his family. Can you imagine that the whole

Book Report

I have been reading a book for many days. The books name is CAT AND MOUSE IN A HAUNTED HOUSE. It is telling about Geronimo Stilton who is a newspaper mouse who runs newspaper in New Mouse City—the capital of Mouse island.

On one night of October, he decided to visit his aunt, Sweetfur. But he got lost when he was driving through the Dark Forest because of the foggy. Then his car was out of gas. He thought “I wish I was at home”.

Suddenly there was a lightning in the sky and he saw a big castle. When he walked closer to the front door, he saw two stone cats and a sign that says: To Canny Cats castle. The door bell was in one stone cats mouth. When Geronimo was deciding to go into the castle, it starts to rain, so he went into the castle……

At last Geronimos sister, little nephew Benjamin and his cousin Trap all came and helped him find out all of two little cat. They dont want others to come into the castle because the castle is their ancestor Canny Cats. So they make many tricks.

After reading this story, I think its very interesting, and I had a lot of fun. My favorite character is Geronimos nephew Benjamin. Because he is very cute and clever, he always observes every detail. He found out the foot prink on the floor and the nail on the wall. In the story it shows Geronimo is a very timid mouse that always scared himself.

I like this story very much, so Ill still read more this set of book.
