How fortunate I was admitted to this school! The teachers are learned and conscientious in their teachings. They take great pains to make us learn The lessons here are not so easy as in my former school, however. We have English composition every week. We read Charles Dickenss “David Copper field” as our text. The teacher gives explanations and questions all in English. We have to prepare our lessons Beforehand. As for Chinese, we read more writings in the literary style than before. Some passages of classics are assigned to us for supplementary readings. We have to write reports for the supplementary work as well as a composition every week. Most of us are keeping diaries in order to practice writing Chinese. Our school lays great emphasis on physical training. It is not like those schools which train a few champions but neglect the well-being of the great majority of students. Our school requires every student to take part in the games. One student should take at least one kind of game. Besides, there are morning exercises held every day. A sound mind in a sound body is the motto of our school. 我获准进这间学校读书，真是多么幸运呀！老师们都是饱学的，教书认真。

Normally, I get up at 7 oclock, I say seven, but actuall I always struggle to wake up, so I say I get up at 7:10. After I wake up, I fold my futon or quilt and brush my teeth and wash my face. As there is little time in the morning, I usually boiled one or two eggs in advance. So, apparently, eggs turn out to be my breakfast. Since my home is near my school, so I can just walk there by foot in 15 minutes.

At school, nothing is very special. I listen to lectures in the class and try to be 100% concentrating on the instructors. I believe when you try to learn as much as possible in class, it will save a lot of efforts in the future. During the class break, I may talk to my friend about some anecdotes or jokes, or play trick on them. Anyway, class break is the period that allow us to relax ourself and to be prepared to next lecture. After that, having lunch, listening to lectures and go home.

I feel the school life in china is not very interesting because there are so many madatory courses that we have to take, which means the more class we take, the less leisure time we have. WIth less spare time, we lose a lot of fun, like watching movies, playing sports, exercise and so on. We have paid to much attention on our "memorizational eduacation system", and from my perspective it shouldnt be. The school should provide more activities which will enable us to learn different aspects on the society and promote a better friendship with each other.
