A reference to the Babylon civilization, the first imagination is "The Hanging Gardens". It was so mystical and historical. Preview: Today I will tell you what are the history and nowadays of The Hanging Gardens. Transition: Lets start by looking at its history. BODY Ⅰ. There are two so beautiful and charming legends and the cause of the name about " The Hanging Gardens". One of the legends occurred many years ago. Neo-Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar Ⅱ married Amyitis for the queen. The King loved the queen very much, but the queen was gradually sad. King did not known the cause. The Queen said, her hometown had a chain of mountains with plants and flowers. But there were endless plains in Babylon, even she could not find a small hill. Thus, the King commanded artisans to built layer and layer gardens like the queens hometown in the palace. It was planted with flowers, trees, and small roads to roam. 随便看看吧。 An informative speech explains something youre interested in or describes how to do something。
Here are a few guidelines on how to write an informative speech。 Part 1 of 4: Deciding on Your Topic 1 Write a list of general subject areas that match your knowledge and experience。
2 Consider subject areas based on things you dont know yet, but would like to。 3 Narrow down your subject areas list into topics。
4 From your list of topics, choose one to develop into your thesis。 5 Make your thesis as specific as possible。
Part 2 of 4: Researching Your Topic 1 Do your initial research。 2 Consider how your research might change your topic。
Part 3 of 4: Writing Your Speech 1 Consider your audience before writing your speech。 2 Outline your speech。
3 Expand your outline to make the body of the speech。 4 Write an introduction。
Your ? 5 Write a conclusion。 Part 4 of 4: Practicing Your Speech 1 Practice your speech while being timed。
2 Practice slowing down。 3 Practice your speech with your props if you have them。
=== Tips When speaking in public, it is very easy to talk too fast。 You will be nervous, and when people are nervous, they talk fast。
Most people do not slow down。 Take this into account not only when you are practicing but also when you are writing - if you are talking slow enough to be comprehensible and professional-appearing, you may not have enough time to give that long detailed speech you wrote。
Even if you write a great speech, its no good if youre unclear or if you mumble when you give it。 Practice speaking clearly and comprehensibly - its a great life skill to have that a lot of people forget。
Youre probably much better at informative speeches than you know! If you have ever told your parents about your day at school, or explained to a friend how to make chicken noodle soup, you already have practice giving an informative speech! If you have trouble thinking of a topic for your speech, search the internet for topics - there are sites with lists of potential topics。 Or consider what you spend most of your time talking about。
For example, if you talk about beauty products often, consider talking about how to make your own, or how to do a specific hair style。 Your outline is meant to be a guide to help you organize your speech, but its not set in stone。
As you fill in the details to actually write your speech, you may find that some points in your outline are unnecessary or out of order。 Feel free to add, delete, and rearrange points to make sense。
Have the flow down pat before you present your speech to avoid looking disorganized! As you give your speech, you might feel like expanding on some topics or reducing others。 Be sensitive to your audience, but also be aware that ad-libbing too much like this may cause you to lose your place in the speech。
Try to stick to your plan。 Remember, informative speeches simply inform people。
Dont choose a topic based on your opinion。 Thats a persuasive speech。
Its important to understand the difference between persuasive and informative speech。 An informative speech like our "How to take apart a carburetor" example becomes a persuasive speech when it becomes a speech like "Why its a bad idea to take apart a carburetor", or "Why Holley carburetors are the best carburetors"。
Overly argumentative speeches that attempt to persuade can actually turn your audience off。 These types of speeches are termed polemical, meaning that they are inappropriately argumentative。
There are places and times where it is appropriate to make a polemical speech; in the middle of an informative speech is not such a place nor time。

So, today was Homecoming for JMU. . .nice. I would have liked to go, but there were some miscommunications and I never ended up with a ticket. Oh well. We won, though, so thats good. I spent game time doing laundry and researching depression in college. I am supposed to give an informative speech on it in a few days, and I have no doubt that Ill be able to do it, but the whole time I was reading, I couldnt help thinking about what I went through last year and am still going through now. I have been trying to get my perscriptions switched to Harrisonburg, but things keep going wrong; I ran out of my meds about a week ago, but they werent really helping that much, so I guess its not as big a deal as it could be. I really miss R-MWC. . .I thought I would be able to fit in well here, but Ive been here for over two months, and I still dont feel like I fit in. I am trying to put myself out there more, but it is difficult to make myself care about anything right now. I read apathy is a symptom of depression, and now I know it for a fact. I auditioned for directors fest and got three call-backs but no parts. Kinda sucks, but oh well. I gave some of my best auditions, though, so if they werent good enough for student directors, how am I ever going to get a mainstage part? Between the chemical imbalance that is my depression, my ever-present feelings of self-doubt, and the feeling of being almost completely alone here, I am having a hard time coping with just about everything. I dont think anyone notices because I have been trying not to act depressed, but that doesnt change how I feel. I get to go home for a few days next weekend, and Im really looking forward to it. I hate that while I was at Randy-Mac, I was able to go days without talking to my Mom, and now I get upset if I dont talk to her every 48 hours or less. Shes the only one who gets a daily glimpse of what Im going through, but she is also working two jobs right now. I feel terrible when I have mid-day breakdowns and call her at work, but I also get panicky when I know she is working at the grocery store and therefore unreachable.I hate that I transferred here for a major that Im not even pursuing. I hate that everyone already knows each other and that I am an outsider. I hate that my housemates all hang out together without me because they have lived together before. I hate that I want to be around people, but there is no one here who wants to or has time to be around me. I hate that I am starting to cry right now and that its not even the first time thats happened today. Most of all, I hate that I dont care. I know that I do care deep down because every time I get an E-mail with something remotely chastising in it, I get extremely upset, but Im never happy. Times when the smallest things could amuse me and make me happy for hours are gone. Things that should have me walking on air for days give me a couple of hours of slight cheerfulness. What is the answer? Is there an answer? I wish I had someone to hug.。

Work out,stay fit(题目)
Life is on the move.We need to do exercises to stay healthy and fit.I bet you are wondering who this guy/girl is to tell us this kind of common sense. But the thing is,you might have the general knowledge, you just lack the possibility. Why possibility? Its rooted in your awareness or willingness to act.
Still thinking about your computer game you lost last night and planning to take revenge?Or if you just cant get rid of that pretty, cuty and lovely soap out of your head?Perhaps,a more well-meaning assumption,if youre too devoted to your work or career to have time for sports?None of these can stand if your physical health means everything to you.
Its suggested physical health have to do with many factors, such as mood, food and sanitation etc(读iksetro).among which exercise takes a more vital and deeper position.People who work out daily show better vital features, react quicker and work energetically which tend to eliminate the impact of the other factors mentioned just now.
Now,maybe it takes only a few minutes earlier to wake up,or just the time for your PC to atand-by and download a file.Maybe, itll just take you some dazing time.Whatever form, your just do it,work out,and stay fit, please.

Generally speaking, a speech may have the following stylistic characteristics: To begin with, it must be very persuasive. Thus the sentence patterns are very well-organized, with repetitions, parallelism and contrasts frequently used. Secondly, it should be emotional so as to be convincing, because the speaker should face the audience directly and his words should not only be orderly and informative but also be expressive and inspiring. Therefore, the stylistic devices such as similes and metaphors are often involved. Finally, in many cases, written-conversational style is usually used with not very formal diction and not very complicated sentence structure. Bibliography: [1].
