首先，说明原因 正文需简单说明求职的原因，譬如有的刚毕业欲谋职；有的为了学以致用，发挥所长；有的“为家乡效力是我最大的心愿”……如明确对方招聘的职位，则应说明信息的来源。

如“近日阅《福州晚报》，敬悉贵公司征聘会计一名……”或“昨日从福建电视台广告节目中得知贵公司急聘商检人员一名，十分欣喜……”等，然后才进入第二个环节：推销自己。 其次，推销自己 即在信中具体介绍自己的学历、资历、专长等，如“我是福建工贸学校98电子商务专业的学生，将于明年7月毕业。”

因是即将毕业的学生，可不用写工作经历，而着重写在校的表现及所取得的重要成果，目的在突出学习好，能力强。学习好，如“在校三年间能勤奋学习，连续两年被评为‘三好学生’，四次获得校二等奖学金。”

能力强，如“担任班级生活委员”或“担任校学生会副主席”、“任学校文学社记者兼校团委会干事”、“利用课余时间从事某某商品的推销工作，有一定的工作经验”或“利用假期在某某公司兼做打字员”等，以事实说明有组织管理能力与工作经验。 有的人没当过任何学生干部职位，也未获过任何荣誉，可写除专业外的各种考试情况。

如“在校期间，除圆满完成中专三年的学习课程外，还兼修国家大专自考的某专业，并已通过几门的考试……”或“在校期间，已取得国家电脑某级，省珠协的珠算等级测试能手某级的合格证书……”或取得会计证、导游证等，这些都是证明你能力水平的硬件。 如果是应聘某一职位，则是针对这职位的特点和要求，有主有次地介绍自己如何有能力胜任。

介绍专长时只择主要的一两项简单说说即可。有的人说“还擅长书法、绘画、写作、演讲”，并获过奖项，这些均可纳入你的专长里，但点到为止。

至于文体方面，除非对方有特别的要求，否则介绍多了反而适得其反。 此外要注意考虑自己有没有比别人更有利的条件，以便增加录用的机会。

如有当地的户口，有住房，懂一两门外语或懂当地的方言等，有时这些小细节反而成为你胜出的资本。 无论如何，推销时要适当，且不卑不亢。

过于谦卑，自贬身价，会给对方以碌碌无能的不良感觉；过于高傲，狂妄自大，会给对方以轻佻浮夸的恶劣印象。这些介绍是对方审视你是否能录用的重要依据之一，应详细、具体、真实。

再次，表达认识及表明态度 即简单阐述你对单位的认识，以拉近与用人单位的距离，争取亲和感，同时表达你对进入公司或对某一职位需求的迫切程度。 对单位的认识可写它的发展前景，或厂史、宗旨，意在说明你对单位的重视，强调这个单位是最适合你发挥才干之所。

如“贵公司在短短的八年间从众多乡镇企业中脱颖而出，决非偶然，而是靠领导高卓的远见及员工强大的凝聚力，才使某某产品名扬海内外，在市场经济浪潮中独树一帜。这是青年人锻炼、发挥才能的好时机、好场所，我愿在毕业后到贵公司效力，不知贵公司尚有职缺否？”也可以“我自信能胜任贵公司征聘的职务，故自荐应聘。”

最后，详备资料。 自荐书的文末附上自己的所有证明资料，包括个人简历、毕业证书及有关证件的影印件并注明份数，附上自己的联系地址、电话等，以备用人单位能及时通知到你。
