收到预订餐厅的邮件，写着we do not allow singlets，请问singlets是指不能穿什么？T恤算吗？

查了一下，柯林斯高阶英汉双解学习词典的解释：

1 （运动员或拳击选手穿的）背心，无袖汗衫，运动背心。

A singlet is a sleeveless sports shirt worn by athletes and boxers

2 （贴身穿的）背心。

A singlet is a plain sleeveless piece of underwear which is worn on the upper half of the body。

二者提到的都是无袖上身衣物，T-shirt不能说是无袖，是半袖/全袖的衣物吧。

个人认为T-shirt不属于singlets。
