Many people like traveling. They just feel happy when traveling. But not many people will think the meaning of travel. What is the meaning of travel? Actually, one of the meanings is to find happiness. Putting aside all the trouble to enjoy themselves usually makes people happy. There is another important meaning. It is to learn things. To go out for a visit can enlarge people's vision. People can learn a lot from it. Therefore, sometimes we will find that some people will be different after they return home from travel. It is because they learn the true meaning of travel.

英语作文——My favorite place to travel

1My sister and I stayed at the Langham back in April for my birthday. I am from San Francisco anf she lives in Macau. I work in the service industry for several years and msotly at the front office which is a hardcore job. Everytime when I travel, I am like a secret shopper and would not disclose what I do. I am a front office manager at a 4-star hotel here in San Francisco.By far after experiencing four 5-stars hotels in HK, this one definitely lived up my expectation. People, within a property, there are ALWAYS some rooms that are smaller even though at the Ritz or the Penninsula. So when you book with a travel agency, you are mostly getting a run-of-the-house room. And a hotel do not assign room in advance, if you come late, do expect to get a least favorite room. In the hotel industry, smoking or non- smoking rooms are NOT GUARANTEED. I loved this hotel, I stayed here for 5 nights, made friends with the staff here. In the future, be smart when you book a room.Thanks2I've stayed in some nice hotels around the world, but the Langham Place is by far my favorite! The hotel is very modern and the rooms have wonderful design and amenities. Be sure to get a Kowloon Room or better, as the Deluxe rooms could disappoint (no shower, harder bed, LCD instead of plasma tv). In the other rooms the bed is really comfortable; the towels are large and thick; the rain shower and plasma tv are great. The service at the front desk is excellent and always warm (although check-in took a while, they were very accomodating). The food in the hotel is also excellent and authentic, especially the breakfasts! The breakfast buffet has great dim sum and about anything else you could want, at an affordable price.Don't be deterred by the location of this hotel in Mong Kok. The area is clean and safe and it is fun to walk the streets with the residents of Hong Kong. The Ladies' Market is only a couple blocks away. There is an MTR station across the street for easy access to Tsim Sha Tsui and Hong Kong island. I would HIGHLY recommend the Langham Place and can't imagine staying anywhere else in Hong Kong!。
