本以为，四级考试和毕业证及学位脱钩后，大家都可以松口气了。

那料想，仍然有众多招聘单位，在大学生求职时仍然要求看四级成绩单，而成绩单上的各个题型的分数详细列出，于是，面对严峻的就业形势，四级带给很多同学的压力不仅没有减轻，反而更大了。前一日，偶遇一小师弟，为考四级苦苦挣扎数年，屡败屡战，屡战屡败，信心丧失殆尽，爱情事业双双歉收，于是就动了恻隐之心，遂将自己考四级、教四级的秘诀和盘托出，以普渡四级苦海中的芸芸众生，助他们早日修成正果，进入英语的极乐世界。

屡战屡败为何因 眼下，四级考不到425分（很多学校规定的可以考六级的分数线，类似于原来的及格线）的师弟师妹多以捆记（a bundle of people）。面对残酷的分数，他们中有的人对英语深恶痛绝，，如果不是考试逼得紧，从此就不想再学英语了。

有的在失败面前还保持着高度的无产阶级革命乐观主义精神，，看完分数，二话不说，又投入了考四级的大战中。那么，究竟四级通不过的症结何在，他们为何屡战屡败 一曰急躁浮躁。

不少人一考完四级，就让四级书、甚至英语书休息了。直到四级考试前一两个月，才又忙活起来。

殊不知，学习英语如同练武唱戏，须做到“曲不离口，拳不离手”，“一日不学，倒退两日”决非危言耸听。也正因为这些人“三月打鱼，两月晒网”，所以再次考四级时的英语水平刚好赶上前一次的水平。

于是，每次考试，分数都不会有太大波动，也不足为怪。更有甚者，分数还逐次递减。

二曰根基不牢，底气不足。不少莘莘学子，十二个月都不能全写对，作文中错词连篇，令阅卷老师觉得若放你一马，天理不容。

不少人听到中学英语单词之后，第一反映是这个词我学过，数秒后才能想起来它的汉语意思，接下来的部分根本来不及进耳朵就要做出抉择，当然只能靠蒙了。更有不少同学，听力的文字答案放在眼前，竟然读不懂，谈何听的懂。

前几日，一老兄登门求教过四级之道，我拿出某次四级考试听力第一题的文字答案，他竟不知fix my watch中的watch之意是为“表”，莫谈“fix”。虽说四级不难，但也决非此等英文素质者囊中之物也。

三曰战线太长，树敌太多。不少人慨叹：四级难，听力尤难；四级阅读，半天不知所云；四级词汇，“数年背不尽，考试吹又生”；四级作文，“为写一句话，拈断数根须”。

然而，他们又很少能够踏踏实实的把自己听力、阅读中的具体的问题找出来，一个一个的干掉 ；很多人不是集中优势兵力，逐个歼灭敌人，而是把自己本来就不多的时间，大部分用于背单词，剩下的时间，又忙于做模拟题，听力、阅读、语法、作文，到处撒胡椒面。这就犯了兵法上的大忌，于是乎，总是有一种“知在此山中，云深不知处”的感觉。

《孙子兵法》上云“散地不战”，要知道，“伤其十指，不如断其一指 ”乃常胜之道。 遥想上个世纪末，笔者也曾苦于四级及格无门，幸得以高人（四十五岁自学英语口语，一年后成为翻译并创立逆向英语的钟道隆教授）指点，从此，听力一句一句的听写，以查出听不懂之处，这犹如地毯式搜索，很快就会将坏人抓住一样，所以极其有效，然后对答案、跟读背诵，再多听几遍。

在阅读上，也一句一句的抠，如遇不会，则四处求教，然后熟读。两个月下来，四级竟考了92 分，又再战四个月，六级和托福同时准备，闲暇教人自己已弄的滚瓜烂熟的四级考题，赚了一些小钱，还考了个托福663分。

一石数鸟 全新攻略 这些年来，四级已成为众矢之的，出四级考题的老师们也倍受指责，以至于一个在中国外语界非常有名的狂人，在数千听众面前，大吼“四、六级考试是个屁！”学生中对四级刻骨仇恨的， 也大有人在。倘若四级有灵，一定会大声喊“我比窦娥还冤哪！”“金无足赤， 人无完人”， 四级也有缺点， 但冷静的分析一下， 四级还真是个“好同志”，至少是“七分功， 三分过“。

四级听力的小对话，展示了一个个很实用的场景，用语又很地道，如果您能把历年来的四级考题中的小对话全部跟读、模仿、背诵下来，您的口语一定会很溜，如果您的中学基础还不是很牢固，您还可以用它来进一步学习基本词汇、基本语法。此外，在听力部分， 无论是小对话还是段子，都有少许生词，而这些词汇，如果您能做到一听就懂，放在阅读中自然是一看就会，这些词汇，将成为您的词汇大军中的“嫡系部队”， 听、说、读、写、译，均可随时调遣，再以这些词为基本词汇，通过词根、词缀、同义、反义、形近、音似等多种方法，大幅度扩大词汇量。

由此可见，招人不待见的四级听力，其实“浑身上下都是宝”。并且，听力题的文字答案，是四级考试中最简单的一部分，以它为突破口，先看着它，认认真真把每一个单词都搞明白，每一个句子都弄懂，再多读几遍，然后一句一句的听写，找出自己听不懂得地方和下笔写时拿不准的单词，多查字典，多问老师，再跟着录音多读，直至背过。

这样， 两套题下来，听力将会有质的飞跃。词汇量也会猛增数百。

并且，多背诵句子、短文，对作文也大有裨益。此为第一招，看听力。

第二招，听写听力。此时，就不要先看文字答案了。
