2006年十二月，美国名校辛辛那提大学副校长Mitch Leventhal来到艾迪国际办公室里进行现场面试。

成立于1819年的辛辛那提大学 （简称UC），是美国中西部一所大型的研究型公立大学。学校因其拥有的悠久历史，被称为全美第二古老的学府。

UC是带薪实习课程（Co-op,1906）的发源地，全美排名第四。参加CO-OP教育的学生在教员的帮助下能够找到对口工作，几乎所有参与该项目的学生都能在毕业时立即找到工作，该校正在与中国企业建立联系，以帮助中国学生找到合适工作。

留学的主体是人，对于合格学生的标准，不同的学校有不同的判定。面试过后，当谈及对中国申请人印象的时候，Leventhal先生首先提出了很高的评价。

中国生源的质量非常高。在美国，中国学生的勤奋和优秀是出了名的，一度是美国各名校最受欢迎的留学生群体之一。

通常他们考试的分数很高，这对于申请及今后的学业十分有利。 对于中国学生所存在的问题，Leventhal先生也表达了自己的看法：大部分的中国学生都比较保守；他们的表达能力、沟通能力和团队精神要相对欠缺一些。

2、表达和沟通的能力。 不论你做出了怎样优秀的工作，不会表达，无法让更多的人去理解和分享，那就几乎等于白做。

所以，在学习阶段，你不可以生活在一个人的世界中，而应当尽量学会与各类人交往和沟通，主动表达自己对各种事物的看法和意见，甚至在公众集会时发表演讲，锻炼自己的表达能力。事实上，在绝大多数美国公司中，最被看重的三项技巧就是：“沟通”，“沟通”，和“沟通” （communication, communication and communication）。

3、对于全局的规划。 美国学校通常极其热衷于发挥学生的主观能动性。

如果借助了别人的智慧和成果，就应该声明。如果得到了他人的帮助，就应该表示感谢。

这也是团队精神的基本体现。 成熟是一把很重要的衡量人的标尺。

这意味人在各方面的提升。走向成熟是一个过程，伴随着可见的与不可见的成果。

希望所有的申请人都能够做一名合格的留学生，做一名合格的国际人。
